Locké-ing up the original story.
The Pokémon journey. A young child would receive their first Pokémon from the Professor of their hometown, only then to face the challenge of fulfilling the Pokédex - a pocket encyclopedia detailing several statistics of a Pokémon and its evolutions. From this moment on they were Pokémon Trainers, with great responsibility and pride placed upon their shoulders.
Throughout their journey, the trainer would capture Pokémon inhabiting tall grass, dark caves and vast oceans, and even sometimes they would trade their own companions for those of another-- all for the sake of becoming the very best. With their selected team of warriors, they would battle through a variety of adversaries before reaching the ultimate goal -- a full collection of Gym badges and ultimately, the Pokémon League Champion title.
Sometimes however, things just don't work out the way your average story should. When Ame rescues a young Pokémon from danger, she finds herself facing Pallet Town's biggest criminal ploy and a world of adventure unlike anything she had ever imagined.
With the help of Kou-- a young and hardy Charmander, Ame and her Pokémon companions are one against the world. They must face fear and tradegy with strength and courage, all in the name of making a final stand against adversity. Hidden secrets are unveiled, friends are made and lost, and this Pokémon story takes a twisted turn unlike any other.
